NPHC promotes interaction through forums, meetings and other mediums for the exchange of information and engages in cooperative programming and initiatives through various activities and functions. The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) is composed of nine (9) sororities and fraternities, eight of which are active at USC: Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. We STRONGLY DISCOURAGE students from affiliating with these organizations. These organizations have elected to forgo support resources and other benefits provided to recognized student groups. The Multicultural Greek Council is also home for organizations that represent their tradition and history through showcased performances such as stepping, strolling, and saluting. We are also dedicated to brotherhood and sisterhood, community service, scholarship, and campus involvement. Our organizations focus on the improvement of different areas of philanthropy, including education, homelessness, domestic violence, cancer research, and much more. MGC is also dedicated to serving the surrounding community through cultural enrichment and civic engagement.
